Did you know that many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees? 


That means that once you’ve donated to the Hillside PTO, there’s a chance your employer will match your donation dollar for dollar!


Hillside PTO is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and therefore eligible to receive corporate matching from companies that provide such programs to their employees. What are employee matching gift programs?

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which a company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organizations. 

What are volunteer grant programs?

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to nonprofit organizations where employees volunteer regularly. If you volunteer with the Hillside PTO, it’s an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!

How do I request a matching gift or volunteer grant?

Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor/volunteer. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer.

When should I apply for corporate matching? 

As soon as you plan to make your donation. Some companies distribute corporate matching funds right away, while others process them quarterly. Other companies have strict timelines for employees to submit their applications. If your company offers corporate matching, please apply for it right away.

What if the Hillside PTO isn’t on my company’s list? 

It’s possible Hillside PTO can be added to your company’s list of eligible organizations for corporate matching.  You’ll need the following information:
